Women Of Cannabis — hemp seed oil

Women of Cannabis: Maha Haq is a powerhouse in Cannabis education

Haq is a powerhouse in cannabis education. She is President and founder of Cannaclub University, a web of student alliances for those students who seek to concentrate on cannabis science, and aim to enter the cannabis space post-graduation, launching Cannaclub University at her alma mater of UCLA, the organization which now spans the country. She also works at an ISO accredited cannabis testing lab, CannaSafe Analytics. Haq is a champion for women and POC in the space, as well as a keynote speaker on cannabis education.

Being an immigrant child with strict parents made this journey difficult for Maha. When she was caught smoking at age 17, is when her career in Cannabis education began and her mom was her first candidate. Her mom is a clinical researcher at a cannabis hospital and was truly impressed by the benefits of Cannabis. She even took up the chance to present it to her colleagues and their patients. “I founded Cannaclub in an effort to combine career interests with my academic studies. While attending college, I managed operations at vertically integrated medical dispensaries for three years. I later joined a cannabis consulting firm based in Denver where I developed legal cannabis businesses in numerous states and six countries” she said when asked about how her story began.

Her advice for budding Cannabis entrepreneurs goes like this “work to realize how powerful you can be in the cannabis industry. We have a unique chance to mold a massive new market. Opportunities are everywhere, from business development and policymaking to healthcare solutions and scientific research. Anyone can become a pioneer in this space. Engage and participate with your community — doing so will promote advocacy, education, and transparency. Study the past, impact the present, and plan for the future.”

She has also worked towards changing the sexist ambience at dispensaries where women are made to wear revealing clothes while being a budtender. She says this is an obstacle for herself and many women in the industry. “Although I am no longer experiencing the same pressures as I did before, there is still an unfavorable behavior and perspective towards women in the cannabis space” she said.

As someone who is half Indian and Pakistani, her road to success was not smooth but she has persisted to become an inspiration for all women across the globe. With new research and education acceptance is sure to follow!

Women of Cannabis: Cyo Nystrom gets intimate with CBD

Cannabis and CBD by themselves are still not as widely expected as we’d like it to be. But combine that with women’s intimate care and you get a new level of hush-hush. We’re here for those who are breaking stigmas that overshadow a number of topics and Cyo Nystrom is one such strong entrepreneur who does that seamlessly.

She is the fierce co-founder of Quim – a brand that believes vaginal health is a precursor to the pursuit of pleasure. They consist of plant-based products that keep your quim happy and healthy. Historically, products created for vaginal health and sexual wellness have not been designed to take sustainable, proactive, self-care into account. This is where Quim was born. Cyo has blazed an unconventional trail and created a sex-positive female health line of cannabis products. Nystrom’s career has told a new story in cannabis, one that orbits health, wellness, and vagina talk. Yes, she has an endless well of creative phrases to describe to women what they’re going through (like “puffy taco” comes to mind). Nystrom candidly and honestly discusses how sex affects women’s bodies, and where cannabis is able to step in to help heal and comfort the most precious parts of our bodies. Don’t skimp on love for you or your partners' nether-regions. Quim describes itself as a “self-care line for humans with vaginas and humans without vaginas who love vaginas.” All their products use CBD and its beneficial pain & inflammation relieving properties.

On advice for young female entrepreneurs, she said the following “Know yourself— your strengths, your weakness, what you love doing and what you hate doing— and then find people to work with who are fundamentally different. My business partner, Rachel Washtien, is my polar opposite with regard to problem-solving and skillset and I firmly believe that the constant push and pull between us is exactly what will help us stay in business in the future.”

Yet another inspiring story! If you love opening up the conversation and in turn, taking care of every part of you, try our CBD products for women. And use code WMN10 for flat 10% off.

Women Of Cannabis: Mandy Moore uses CBD to take her higher

People may have a number of different uses for CBD such as to fight inflammation, alleviate mood, decrease stress, anxiety, insomnia and more. However, Mandy Moore uses CBD for something super quirky! Mandy Moore is just one of those singers who fit seamlessly into an acting career. She has come a long way since her debut single Candy and has starred in a number of blockbuster hits such as a Walk To Remember, Tangled, Hotel Noir and more and is currently best known for the hit TV show This Is Us. Being a huge celebrity comes with a lot of stress. It means long working hours, tons of interviews and daunting red carpets. And this is where CBD comes in.

When you’re someone with such a busy schedule, looking for natural ways to sustain your energy levels becomes a huge priority. Especially with being a woman and a mom in the industry, you’re juggling a whole lot of tasks and responsibilities and if any of us find ourselves in this circumstance, we sure could use a little help – with no side effects of course. So how did Mandy Moore discover CBD? Here’s what she had to say about that: “I always try to choose really comfortable shoes, because as I’ve gotten older, I just can’t hack being in heels for an extended period of time. Last year I thought I had gone for a pair of comfortable heels, but by the end of the night I was in so much pain I felt like I was walking on glass, so I kind of ended the evening early…. Although honestly, I’ll find any excuse for an early night. This year I’m trying some CBD oil on my feet, which my stylist recommended. I asked her if there was some kind of numbing cream, and she was like, ‘No! Try CBD Oil.’ So it could be a really exciting evening! I could be floating this year.” What a unique and functional way to use CBD! So ladies, one way you can make high heels much more bearable is through CBD. The next time you have somewhere to go looking flawless in heels, you can feel pretty amazing too with a little CBD.
