Meet Meloni 🤍🐾 At just 2.5 years old, Meloni’s story is one of unimaginable loss, resilience and love. Abandoned at an empty home on Nepean Sea Road with her babies, this gentle Persian mother found herself on the streets, trying to protect her little family in a world that had already been unkind to her. Thankfully, she and her kittens were rescued by a kind-hearted lady who gave them a chance at safety. From the very beginning, Meloni proved to be an extraordinary mother—calm, patient and endlessly loving. She cared for her babies with such devotion, making sure they were safe, fed and loved. But life had more heartbreak in store. Because of a devastating decision made during their treatment, Meloni and her babies were exposed to the parvovirus. Tragically, all by four of her kittens passed away before they ever got the chance to begin their lives with the families who had been waiting to welcome them home. Meloni herself came dangerously close to losing her own life. Against all odds, she fought back. Today, Meloni is a proud parvo survivor—a testament to her strength and spirit. She has endured more pain than any animal should ever have to face, yet she continues to trust, love and seek comfort from the people around her. Now, all we want for Meloni is what she has never truly had: a family of her own. We are looking for a humble, patient and loving home that will cherish her and give her the affection she deserves after everything she has been through.
