Why Akasha Retreat is

North Goa’s most Unique Aerial Yoga Experience?

Aerial Yoga - Elevate Your Practice

Experience the joy of defying gravity. Sense the liberation of Aerial Yoga, where traditional asanas are performed using hammocks to support and deepen your practice. The anti – gravity yoga helps you to move beyond the mat – literally and metaphorically. Each inversion posture helps decompress your spine, calm the mind, and return to breath. Energize your system, while suspended asanas will awaken your core strength and foster inner courage

Suspended Restorative & Nidra

Relax fully in gravity – supported stillness. Let gravity support you while your mind journeys into the soul enriching deep state of yogic sleep, healing and restoration. This unique blend of restorative aerial yoga poses and Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) allows your nervous system to reset, your breath to deepen, and your energy to rebalance. During these sessions in these retreat, when you surrender into complete support, your body unwinds from chronic tension, the mind releases loops of stress, and deep emotional healing becomes accessible. The soothing weightlessness of the hammock encourages introspection, self-compassion, and a powerful sense of inner peace.

Sound Healing in Hammocks

The Akasha Yoga Retreat allows you to tune into deep vibration while gently floating. Engage yourself in the soulful vibrations of sound healing while being gently suspended in a hammock. The healing vibrations ripple through your body while in a self – aware yoga asana. This unique blend of sound therapy and suspension generates a state of deep relaxation and emotional release, offering you clarity and perception. On deeper level, it also helps to open energetic channels.

Mudgar Practice

This special add on during this yoga retreat let the participants explore the ancient Indian strength training to support aerial endurance. Guided by qualified instructors, build strength training using wooden clubs. Mudgar practice helps build grip, upgrades core strength, and promotes stability and body awareness which is very important for aerial yoga movements. Improved focus is another important benefit of Mudgar practice that makes it a powerful addition to your yoga practice or wellness journey.

Ice Plunge Experience

Exposure to cold isn’t just a thrilling experience – it’s a wake up call to your primal intelligence. Challenge your limits with guided ice plunge sessions that ignite blood circulation, reduce inflammation, awaken clarity, and build mental resilience to meet the discomforts of life with calm. This ancient practice promotes a sense of presence, boosts clarity and opens your heart. With guided breathwork and support by our yoga teachers, you’ll safely enjoy the discomfort and emerge with a sense of empowerment, deep calm, and renewed energy.

Trauma-Informed Teaching

At Akasha Retreat, the safety and comfort of our yogis is paramount. Our instructors are specialists who are trained in trauma informed teaching methodologies, guaranteeing a supportive and safe environment for all participants, meaning every practice, whether dynamic or restorative, is planned with inclusivity and nervous system support in mind. You will feel seen not pushed, empowered not instructed.

Satvic meals, Nature, and Rest

At AdiYogam, we believe high prana and hygienically prepared meals nourish not just the body but also the soul. Each meal for the yoga retreat participants is prepared as per the principles of yoga and ayurveda diet. Well-balanced spices and healthy herbs make our food not only delicious but easy to digest.
A retreat style accommodation offers complete rest and peace required during such intensive yoga retreats.

We provide free bicycles to the participants of our Akasha Yoga Retreat. Cycle rides are one of the favourite things to do in North Goa. These mindful excursions offer solitude, connection with the land, and a dose of movement that blends fitness with fun.
