A Peruvian Cacao Ceremony & Amazonian Ecstatic Dance
For one evening this October, Bandra becomes a threshold between the Andes and the Amazon.
In the high valleys of Cusco, cacao has long been treated as a sacred plant, something you share with intention and not just drink. Saira, a keeper of a Cusco shamanic lineage, brings that tradition to Mumbai for a rare ceremony that is as close to its Peruvian roots as you can get without boarding a flight.
The ceremony begins in stillness and ends in motion. After the cacao circle, the room opens into an Amazonian shamanic–themed Ecstatic Dance led by DJ Symbiotic Harmony. There's no choreography, no talking and no audience, just rhythm, breath and your body finding its own way.
The Evening
- Arrival & Grounding: Settle in, leave the city at the door, and step into a space held with care.
- The Cacao Ceremony: A traditional Peruvian ritual led by Saira, with ceremonial cacao sourced by Amma Cacao and prepared by her own hands.
- Ecstatic Dance: An immersive, Amazon-inspired sonic journey with DJ Symbiotic Harmony.
- Plant-Based Feast (optional): Close the evening with a nourishing vegan plant medicine meal.

Your Guide: Saira
Saira is a Peruvian shaman of a Cusco lineage. She carries forward ceremonial practices rooted in Andean reverence for the earth and its plants. Her ceremonies are warm, grounded and deeply traditional, and they welcome both first-timers and seasoned seekers.
