How to care for your loved ones’ wellness with Hemp

If you’re well acquainted with the benefits of hemp oil and have tried full-spectrum hemp oil before, then you might have the urge to shout it from the rooftops, or tell everyone you know and get them on board.  Unfortunately, especially here in India, explaining hemp’s potential to your loved ones may present itself as an uphill battle. Although it was an integral part of our ancient culture, somewhere along the way, we have been convinced that this sacred plant is “bad” because it’s illegal. Restoring perspectives may not be an easy task but we’re well on our way to getting it back into the mainstream and further delving into the healing properties that hemp delivers. If you want to introduce hemp products or CBD products to a family member for their well being, here are a few ways you can do that!

Hemp is first and foremost a natural commodity

Hemp is an eco-conscious alternative to concrete and can be used as insulation. It acts as a bio-composite construction material.

Hemp seed is now rising in popularity as an excellent food supplement because of its high nutritional value.

The hemp plant can be used as raw material to produce fuels such as biodiesel, ethanol and methanol.

Hemp is an amazing alternative to using wood for paper pulp as it grows much faster in smaller areas of land.

Hemp is also a substitute for rope due to its strong fibers. And it is also an eco-conscious textile that is used for clothes, shoes and more.

This may grab their attention in a positive way, so you can advance to explain the potential benefits of consuming Hemp in the form of full-spectrum hemp oil or isolates. If there’s someone in your family for whom you think hemp will be medicinally beneficial then the coming points will be of more importance so here goes.

In the past year, especially in the wake of the pandemic, the rise in demand for natural alternatives has surely grown. Most pharmaceutical medicines are synthetic versions of a natural compound, and although this may not be harmful in small doses, it could be harmful in the long run which is why the focus has shifted to maintaining a holistic and natural lifestyle. Using this as leverage, you can bring forth benefits of hemp such as:

CBD is being used in treatment to alleviate pain and inflammation.

Over the counter anti-anxiety medication comes with a plethora of side effects whereas CBD is a completely natural way of treating anxiety. It interacts positively with our serotonin receptors that are responsible for regulating mood and behaviour.

CBD effectively provides comfort and alleviates the symptoms of patients undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

The most important thing to also mention here to your family is that hemp does not get you “high” as it contains much smaller amounts of THC (less than 0.3%) and a plethora of other compounds like CBD, CBG, CBN and more that produce an entourage effect or a general feeling of wellbeing.

It’s a brave endeavour to educate your family and loved ones to get them on board with this wonderful plant! Here’s hoping this helps you get started and helps them see the wonders that hemp holds. If you’re interested in products that might convince them even further, check out our website!
