How a CBD self-care routine can change your life!

When your body-mind is in balance, it sure can work wonders for you. Daily stress levels, lack of sleep, hydration, all result in aches and pains, and a general imbalance in the body. While exercise and meditation can help bring you back to balance, another really effective method of helping you achieve that homeostasis is CBD. While taking CBD gets you back on course, making a routine out of it can cultivate a deeper level of stability that can root you as you reach higher. In this article, we cover the importance of developing a CBD self-care routine and how that can change your life for the better – read on!

The most important thing to note here is that while developing a CBD routine, like any routine, calls for consistency. Everyone’s endocannabinoid system is affected differently, which is why it helps to keep trying various doses and techniques to find out what works best for you!

  1. Settle on the product that’s right for you

At first glance, all CBD products may seem the same. But as you explore, there are various strengths of CBD and various doses you can consume. There are also various formats of consuming it – tinctures, capsules, softgels, gummies etc. Start off with a tincture if you’re looking to consume and if you’re looking for a more targeting, topical approach go for balms.

  1. Establish a routine and stick to it

If you already have a wellness routine in place, you can add CBD to complement it. For example, if you practice yoga regularly, adding CBD to enhance your experience – before or after, can work wonders. You can even integrate a 15-20 minute session of massaging CBD balm into your sore spots to tone and relieve your muscles.

You can even incorporate it into your morning routine, if you have one or you can create a self care routine with some breathwork and CBD into your mornings so your day flows by seamlessly. On the flipside, CBD is also great for a night time routine. It helps you sleep better and having a routine before bed means you can stay off your screen for at least 30 minutes before bed and you can wake up feeling refreshed and rested the next day.

  1. Track your progress

Take notes about how you feel daily! If you try different doses, you can find what works best for you. Keep week 1 to experiment and stick to the routine that feels best! Listen to your body and your mood and you’re good to go!
